Duo Game guide

Six topics, twelve questions each: dating, travel, friendship, housemates, working together and weekends. Choose one pack at a time. Korean and English use the same question IDs and answer rules.

Two ways to invite

The existing quick link contains encoded answers and an optional nickname. Anyone with it can read them; it cannot be revoked. The new optional private invite stores answers on the server and puts only a random invite ID in the URL. Before the second participant completes, the server does not return the first answers.

Private invites remain accessible for seven days. The host can revoke them and delete both saved answers. The participating device uses an HttpOnly session cookie, and the host can keep a private recovery code. Do not send the recovery code to the other person. Expired data is inaccessible and deleted during later cleanup.

Compare on two different devices

  1. One person chooses one of the six topics and answers every question honestly.
  2. From the personal result, use the compare/invite button to send the invitation link.
  3. The other person opens it and answers the same question version. Completing it reveals the comparison.
  4. With quick sharing, the second person sends the comparison result link back to the first; the first screen does not update automatically. An optional private invite checks results at the same invite URL about every five seconds while the page is visible.

Use Back during questions to change a choice. An unfinished draft can resume in the same browser on the same device, unless browser storage is blocked or cleared.

What does 70% count?

Fictional calculation for an older link: seven matching choices among ten travel questions gives 7 ÷ 10 × 100 = 70%. It measures matching answers to those questions, not the chance of a successful relationship.

The current dating result organizes 12 answers into four axes: contact rhythm, affection, time together and talking after conflict. It presents 16 cat types and comparisons by axis. An old 10-question dating invitation retains its original version; start a new dating game to see the newer types.

Turn a difference into a conversation

Example: one traveler wants an early start and the other wants more sleep. Share one essential activity and one rest need rather than choosing who is right.

  1. What mattered most in making this choice?
  2. What would make the other choice comfortable?
  3. What small action could we try together next time?

Even identical answers can have different reasons. Results are conversation prompts, not personality tests, counseling or relationship diagnoses.

Know what you are sharing

In quick sharing, an invitation contains the first person’s answers and optional nickname. A comparison link contains both people’s answers and nicknames. Anyone with a quick link can read them. Retaking the game does not change that link, and this mode has no password or recall function. Send it only to intended recipients.

An optional private invite puts only a random invite ID in the URL and stores answers on the server. Once both people complete it, only their participating devices can view the comparison. The host can manage and revoke it using the host session or a privately kept recovery code. Revocation deletes both saved answers, but cannot erase images already downloaded or shared.

Save result creates a 1080 × 1350px PNG. It may show names and a result summary; check before sharing. The tool-share button below shares the service address without personal answers.

Link, copy and save problems

If a quick share link is invalid, ask for the complete address including everything after #. A truncated address or unsupported question version may require a fresh game. An expired or revoked private invite requires a new invite. If only the host session cookie was lost, the privately kept recovery code can restore host access before expiry. Browsers without native sharing fall back to copying a link.

If image creation fails, retry from the result screen. When an image preview is available, use its direct PNG download link. Also check downloads and device storage. Report a problem with the topic, browser and error text; you do not need to attach a private answer link.

Understanding the new results

Travel, friendship, housemates, work and weekends each organize twelve answers into four axes, with three scenes per axis and sixteen named combinations. A 2:1 split is shown as context-dependent. Actual comparisons show matching answers out of twelve, individual preferences and three editable agreements. Suggestions about compatible types are editorial directions, not relationship-success probabilities.

Older ten-question links and unfinished drafts keep their original questions. Completion marks store only pack IDs and versions on this device.
